Purpose & ownership
The reporting need.
Referrals, encounters, enrollments, care plans, and outcomes live in separate clinical workflows. Reporting has to connect those records while preserving the meaning of each count.
Program teams use the reports to review referrals, outreach, active caseload, enrollment, and documented cessation. I handle requirements, data preparation, modeling, report development, validation, publishing, and ongoing support.

What I built.

Integrate clinical extracts
Clean and standardize enrollment, flowsheet, encounter, SST, OB/GYN, and care-plan extracts in Power Query.

Preserve the grain
Model people and repeat events separately. Define relationships so multiple encounters or status records do not multiply person-level counts.
- 03
Define the measures
Use DAX for referral, enrollment, caseload, and outcome measures. Keep pregnancy at enrollment as a subgroup, separate from additive pathway totals.
- 04
Maintain the product
Validate refreshes, troubleshoot source changes, and revise the reports as managers’ operational questions change.
Quality & interpretation
How I check it.
- Reconcile report totals against source extracts.
- Check duplicate records, missing keys, and date logic.
- Review relationship behavior and filter context.
- Check overlapping outcome sources before counting people.
